Alarms & Electrical (Devizes) Ltd began trading on the 4th January 1977 as a fully independent company to service the increasing need for fire alarm maintenance and installation by the customers of it's then parent company Wilts Fire Extinguisher Service.
As a NACOSS ISO 9002 Quality Assured company, NICEIC Approved Contractor and listed as a compliant company with all local Police Forces, we are committed to ensuring that all of our activities continue to satisfy stringent requirements of the Police ACPO policy and recommendations of relevant British Standard. Confidentiality and security of our clients information and property is of paramount importance, all of our staff are directly employed and have been "security vetted", a full employment history for each staff member is held on file. We do not sub-contract any of our installation or servicing work. Training is carried out at regular in-house sessions as new equipment and regulations are introduced, engineers also attend our local technical collage where recognised qualifications are gained where appropriate. This ensures that our engineers are fully conversant with the many regulations governing our industry, British Standards, NACOSS Codes of Practice, NACOSS SSQS 101, and Police ACPO Policy . Our engineers rarely leave us, most have been with us for many years some of them joined us back in the early 1980's, others began their careers with us as apprentices. They are all equally comfortable installing in customers homes, where we take great care to conceal the wiring wherever possible, as they are in large industrial or commercial environments.
