NACOSS - The National Approval Council for Security Systems recognise, inspect and regulate firms who install, maintain and monitor electronic security systems.

The role of NACOSS is to ensure its Recognised Firms uphold the highest standards possible.

The NICEIC is a consumer safety organisation set up to protect users of electricity against the hazards of unsafe and unsound electrical installations. It is the industry's independent electrical safety regulatory body.

The NICEIC maintains a Roll of Approved Contractors that meet the Council’s Rules Relating to Enrolment and national technical safety standards including BS 7671 (IEE Wiring Regulations). The Roll is published annually so that consumers and specifiers can select contractors they know are competent.
